Happy Birthday to Me

I’ve had a fantastic birthday weekend with my daughter, Zoe. She’s an incredibly busy editor for a magazine, so I particularly appreciate the effort she always goes to each year to travel hundreds of miles to my house to make my birthday special. I gave her a paperback edition of The Trouble With Liam and await her opinion. I’ve warned her how shocking some of the chapters are, but it’s so far received nine 5-star reviews on Goodreads in its first month, so it appears readers enjoy my latest book despite the shocks, maybe because of them.

THE TROUBLE WITH LIAM was published on Amazon on 1.10.2018. It’s a powerful psychological thriller set in Ireland and Sheffield and tells the life story of Liam O’Sullivan in all its twisted glory. It begins with tales of his challenging childhood in Dublin and follows him through sometimes tragic events which change him into a misogynistic, controlling, ultimately lethal bully living in Sheffield. Liam thought he could do as he pleased … until he was taught otherwise. Prepare to be shocked in different ways throughout the book. If you’re not a fan of thrillers or reading books containing violence, sex, and swearing, please avoid The Trouble With Liam. If you enjoy lashings of dark humour, situations to make your eyes pop out, thrills of every kind all wrapped up in a gripping, dramatic storyline, please read on. I’m currently writing the next book in the series, The Trouble With Russell.
